This is my submission for today's LensDay.
There are two unexpected things about this. One, I've posted. It's been days and days since I last posted and I am really sorry about that! I've just been caught up in the politics of my job. I was given a key to the store over a month ago, and was told that a decision was going to be made about my position and raise the wednesday after Easter! How many weeks ago was that now? The man that was going to make the decision was fired, and the other district manager waited until there was a new store manager (our store manager left and that's why I got a key) and then proceeded to pass the buck. Then my new store manager went on vacation. She comes back tomorrow. . . So, I don't think I will find anything out for a while. . . I'll prob'ly have a new job by the time they get their thumbs out of the butts and make a decision!

Anyway, the unexpected thing about the photo is that I wasn't expecting the little house finch to look right at the camera! He sure is a cute little thing though, huh? I didn't expect to have a house finch at my feeder either. Didn't even know there were any in the neighborhood. Although, I haven't seen any birds at all now at the feeder for over a week. . . They must have found better food somewhere else.
