insurmountable odds May 31, 2004

Meet "the pig." He is a squishy, foam rubber, stress toy. And he can be very stressful sometimes. Especially when his owner is carrying him around by the ear, and yowling at the top of her lungs at two in the morning (yes, Spook does both at the same time, annoyingly well I might add).

Either way. . . .I saw him just sitting there at the bottom of the stairs just a few moments ago and the title "insurmountable odds" came to mind. Well, he looks like he's contemplating those stairs to me anyway.

So, I took one pic w/out the flash. . . too dark. I took one with the flash. . . too bleached out. I tried covering up part of the flash with my finger, and a couple of those came out pretty well. So I decided to cover up the entire flash with my finger, and there is the result!

I guess I have a pretty powerful little flash on my Canon PowerShot S200 digital Elph. I love that little thing.
