Homework
Everywhere I look I see wanders wandering
Denying the past from whence they came
Never knowing where they will go
Always looking for the easy way out
And never finding the solace they seek
Now is their time
Now is their place
Falling by the wayside
All look up to see the stars
In their ever moving patterns
Lolling their heads to follow them
Imagining that they too can fly
Not realizing the grief they cause
Going day from day
Rolling into the next town
Out the other side too quickly
Unable to comprehend
Solutions to their dismal fates
Eternity unfolds before them
