Homework

Robert watches as Molly makes some last minute adjustments to her attire. The blue satin dress clings to her well-defined, voluptuous form. He thinks that she looks great, although he can tell by the scornful look she casts at the dress that Molly thinks otherwise. Her black curls tumble to her shoulders, framing her heart-shaped face. The high-heel shoes she is wearing accentuate the muscles in her caves. He watches as she puts on her make-up, thinking that she didn't need to have that much when she was younger. He knows that she puts on as much as she can to hide the wrinkles, but he still thinks that she is just as beautiful as she was when they first met. She turns to him, a glare in her eye.

"Well?" she asks menacingly.

He knows that if he answers wrong, then there will be hell to pay for the rest of the night, and tonight is not one he can afford to ruin by having her in her usual bad mood. He needs her to be the charming woman that she can sometimes pretend to be.

"You look ravishing, my dear." He replies, flinching away from the heat in her stare.

"You mock me! Why are we doing this anyway?" She says, turning away with a sigh.

"No, I wouldn't mock you." He replies, hoping that it will cool her off a bit. "You will be the envy of every woman there. And you know very well why we are going. The client wants to meet the families of the programmers."

He watches as she walks to the another room, wondering where the gorgeous, loving girl he met went, and where this frigid, old, pleasant looking woman came from.
